yeah i'm obsessed with food. this was my sumptious lunch i had by myself at 3pm at 궁 Gung Korean Restaurant during work ydae. chicken ramyun with kimbap and korean coffee set meal. haven't gone out for my lunch break ever since started work at Korea Plaza. every day it's either khong guan biscuits, mcdonald's double cheeseburger or a subway cold cut trio sandwich. so ydae it was really luxury for me. thanks to my new partner ailing, n jovi who told me by accident that she was free to work temp for us. so far i really like her, she's really sweet. but i tink maybe i scared her by yakking too much. haha. cos i'd been working by myself for too long, too used to talking to myself already. looking forward.
all i need is one thing. simple faith to hear Jesus n believe His words are forever as i spend each day. that i really have the best of heaven in everything.
completed my 3mths probation at KTO, so mr yang treated us to dinner at Jang Shou Korean Charcoal BBQ restaurant at esplanade! like, good enough for RAIN to eat at, definitely good enough for me~ and it is REALLY GOOD. i mean, i thought jushinjung was good, but this was even better! we had a private room (thank God, bcos when we emerged later the whole restaurant was covered in smoke frm the bbq and i wld have smelled like pork), and this guy helped us bbq the gorgeous pieces of meat u see in the pictures above. the beef so juicy, the pork so lean... totally yummy wrapped with the crispy lettuce. i forgot to take pictures of the bibim naengmyun (spicy cold noodles) we had after the bbq though. it is really the best i've had, even better than the one i had in seoul. and... my 2 korean bosses made me n addy down quite a few shots of soju, supposed to be the korean custom for celebrating the end of my probation... and addy for completing one year. addy said she felt woozy, but in the end we still made it out of the restaurant in a straight line.
well. still waiting for my fam trip. FIGHTING.

splurged at pasta waraku in marina square after church svc just now... with mama n alastair. my pasta set came with the yummy corn soup, salad, 2 mini pasta portions (japanese roe n bacon carbonara) n a glass of red wine! then i had my tiramisu parfait - the tiramisu is heavenly, melts in ur mouth n nt too overbearing in taste, bcos of the ice cream n fruits n banana underneath...
yes. my diet shall start, like, tmrw lah.

end-of-probation celebration dinner~

cherie baby's 2nd birthday chalet~
cherie didn't really like the flashes from the camera. so she's forcing a smile...
children grow so quickly. now charis is going to K1 next year, growing to be so intelligent. cherie just melts my heart with her affectionate gestures... the pure n innocent love that children give...
