my computer went for "organ transplant" for one whole week, and finally it's back! it's BAD when i actually found my own home comp FOREIGN, bcos i've been staring too long at candy's and my pentium III desktop at work for too long. -_-" so well, after spending that amount of money getting it repaired, i'm not giving it any chance to recuperate. back to serving me with my korean dramas!

The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince~!




gong yoo is quite hot. too influenced by adeline already! lucky her... she went to the REAL Coffee Prince cafe just last week when she was in Seoul, and took pics everywhere. BUT. the cafe actually closed down bcos too many fans were taking parts of it home as memorabilia. maybe i'd make it part of my itinerary when i go to Hongdae in Nov myself! muahaha.

i also just watched in the theatre...

Legendary Courtesan: Hwang Jin Yi

starring my favourite Song Hye Kyo! despite all the bad reviews abt this movie, n how they made her so depressed... i tink this movie was REALLY GOOD. pple said the movie was too long, but i felt it allowed for the development of the emotions displayed, and made it convincing for us as the audience to feel with them as well. it showed a different side of hwang jin yi - of her as a woman first, rather than the drama which focused a lot on her art as a gisaeng n how she became top of her time. song hye kyo's acting is excellent, needless to say. i would definitely watch the movie again! of cos, mine were complimentary passes... but i will buy the dvd. heh.

one thing that really pissed me off though, were the irritating pple in the theatre who TALK and reveal how ignorant they are. the uncle 3 seats away from me has NO SENSE of self-awareness and keeps reading the words on the screen that he finds he can understand, like when the words appeared "song hye kyo" and "5 years later" etc, and also gave "LIVE" COMMENTARY like "wah the movie is quite long ah!" wah i got pissed with him that i went "SHHHHHHHHH!!!!" at him can. i mean like, yeah the movie is in korean and you probably came to watch such a film bcos you can oogle over song hye kyo, but pls KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT. i tink i did everyone (15 of us) in the theatre a favour can. and please, don't bring your wailing babies to such movies. they obviously won't enjoy sitting thru it. n i can't yell at babies.

okay. heh. yup that's my saturday. a precious day of rest n relaxation before i move the thousands of brochures n flare up at the warehouse guy when i move into korea plaza tmrw...

아주 바빠요~~! been spending the past week OT-ing in offce up till 9pm, which is HIGHLY UNCOMMON for an office-girl like me! -_-" but no choice. moving to Korea Plaza (finally!) this friday... and the opening ceremony is coming up on the 11th... so many things not yet done! but well... i shall persevere! bcos there are just too many wonderful things in store for me. b-boys motivated me. and like i got to take home 4 boxes of mooncakes (ritz-carlton, tung lok, hotel intercontinental and carlton. all good stuff ok. muahaha.), a juicy pomelo and 2 korean pears for mid-autumn. agents gave us, and the koreans don't really eat, so pass to me lor! eehee. i had been so pent-up the past few days without candy around, and with adeline off to korea for her fam-trip! i started talking to myself (in mandarin so the koreans won't hear) can... at least she kept sms-ing me frm seoul and daegu abt her stories there, to entertain me. well she came back to work tdy, and the last i heard, my trip to seoul and jeju might just be brought forward to early november!! *claps gleefully* too bad, cos i wanna see winter, but well, november will still be cold at 7 degrees Celsius (i like!)... i am already dreaming of all the shopping i'm gonna do at myeongdong, dongdaemun, insadong etc etc etc etc etc...


until then. FIGHTING! the opening of Korea Plaza shld bring more excitement! personally, i'm hoping to get the chance to wear one of our hanboks. heh. oh well.
