Korea Sparkling TV Ad feat. Rain

this is an official announcement that i am now employed as a Customer Service Officer for the KOREA TOURISM ORGANISATION!!!!! *APPLAUSE AND WHISTLES* yup, that's the 'Korea, Sparkling' people! YEEEESSSSSSS!!!! none of u can imagine how i'm jumping for joy still! it is really all by the grace of God, really all glory to Jesus!




it's been almost 2 mths ever since i came back from my holiday, a period during which i've gone for a few interviews, n some rejections. been thru times of anxiety, wondering if i'm doing things right (like rejecting another interview with CAAS), or if i've done enough for that matter... but God is faithful! how i am always reminded of Jesus' love for me; how my life began by His grace n how i will continue purely by grace! i rmbr telling Jesus that if i enjoyed my job in CX so much, then this move has got to be moving me to something greater, more significant, more exciting! this is like a DREAM job for me! can you believe it? it is like, part of my job requirement to watch all the korean dramas i want, catch up on the latest news on song hye kyo/rain/whoever... i get to take korean lessons n go on company trips to korea at least once a year!! plus i'm getting paid (top of my expectations!) for all these! no more shifts (which i may miss sometimes), only 9am-6pm, hardly OT, no weekends except during travel fairs... HALLELUJAH!!! i only start in august, and we're moving to the new korea plaza in sept... n i'm very excited! but meanwhile stay tuned... haha. korea, here i come!!!

this was taken at the departure gate for cx734 on our last day working together... i rmbr i threw a tantrum n confused the few of them. just acting my age of 21. haha... well, i'm well-loved still anyway! i miss a lot of people frm CX, but i especially hold these two (linda n charmaine) dear... they're still in CX by the way, good for them... i'm so grateful to both of them for all the support they've given me, and the care and concern they still show me now as i go thru the out-of-job-looking-for-new-one stage. ms chua's still acting 'da boss' over me, tough love frm her as she sms-es me day in day out abt my latest job applications n progressions. when actually, n she has confessed, she misses me too! hahaha! ( she is so gonna get me for this, but i'm just stating facts...) charmaine gives me a great listening ear, she's definitely 100x better than the one the company hired! =D don't see her so skinny n petite, she's almost the foodie like me, n we always crack up at goodness-knows what! frm seeing each other almost every day to now, to now where we see each other only on organised meetings in weeks.... miss them calling me 格格 too (did u know it's the name of that nkf-bankrupt-guy-who-ran-away's DOG!!! nvm... i'm secure in Christ!!) .

anyway, this post is just to fill up space so i don't look like i'm collecting cobwebs at home. i'm actually still very much alive, very much sane, n very much in action still. yeah.

slug. somehow seems like the best word to describe my lifestyle now. sleep... then eat n eat... then sleep. but slugs really take their time to smell the flowers long the way, i'd like to think. like now, i'm spending lotsa time with my precious cousins - alastair, michelle n eugene... we go to church together, go shopping together, go eat together n pig out at eugene's place together... it really helps that he has a 72in samsung lcd tv for watching dvds in. i think we this bunch of cousins have been thru quite a lot together, n really by God's grace we're almost as close as siblings. we always know we have each other when we need support. i love my family! like how now i'm SO unemployed... but nbdy has ever put stress on me nor condemned me. such grace... you know, i believe God is definitely opening something really good for me, n surely my whole family shall prosper amen!
