BEEN BUSY with things to do up to my neck! for the d&d lah. well. turns out i'm NOT wearing a hanbok anymore. humph. the last shop i went to had a REAL nice hanbok, BUT... it fell to mid-calf; it was too short for me!!! *faint* so disappointing... but anyway, i went the other extreme n decided to wear something really elaborate, n HEAVY. pictures hopefully up soon... only 2 days more!

i have been busy searching HIGH n LOW for a pretty hanbok to wear for the upcoming d&d... i tink in all i've been to abt FIVE costume stores, n they all have really UGLY hanboks! *faints n froths at the mouth* i mean like, i look at the hankboks they have n i'm tinking, "who're they trying to kid???" most were made of cheap shiny blue/green/red/yellow satin with rainbow sleeves (the kind that korean dancers wear), n look really tacky. others were so plain they prob make u look really like u were part of the cast in daejanggeum... the MAID role.
ok i did see 2 real ones in no.1 costume store, but they cost like 300BUCKS to rent, i might as well buy my own! but of cos... authentic ones frm korea do cost a BOMB, like $1000+++++++++++++. den the one in millenia walk? the one with the hanbok on display? turns out they DO sell the hanboks, at $499 (BEFORE 10% discount the store-owner said... like, wah.). i tell u i thank God i haven get my pay yet, if nt i will really go buy it liao. it even caused me some anxiety man! there was one night i went to bed at 1am, but i kept tinking abt the hanbok that i cldn't fall aslp till 5.30am! *faint* n i had to wake for work at 9.30am... then the nxt night i dreamt abt it. -_-" well, there is ONE store that i saw i a REAL one, but it was closed the 2nd time i went down, i really hope i can actually fit into that one, n that it wun burn my pockets off to wear it! no.1 costume oso promised to call me when their other hanboks return frm laundry... they'd better! if nt... i might just dig out that old vietnamese dress in my wardrobe, put on my bamboo hat, n go representing ho chi minh city... *sniffle*

ok this has been stagnant for some time. been chasing goong vcds lah... heh. i'm so in love with the prince! hahaha... anyway tdy pastor prince preached on the secret to happiness - found in romans 4>> the double blessedness (happinessES in greek) of those who believe He rmbrs our sins no more, nor imputes them to us. this is something that's been on my mouth the past few months i guess: happiness. when things happen the way u want them to happen. i've been really quite happy at work (where i spend most of my time...), increasingly more n more favour i'm seeing. like, i see myself distinguished above my peers? been busy oso in the committee for organising our CX 60th anniversary dinner n dance on 1 dec too... we came up with the theme to dress up to represent the countries we fly to. i wanna wear the korean HANBOK!!! haha... i was joking with my colleaugues that i wear such a big dress, can eat as much as i want no one can see my bloatedness. den maybe can hide some inside the dress oso... then make them bow n call me "mama" when they see me! hahahaha... like goong! so exciting! heehee... we're going down to the costume store soon... watch this space for photos!
